Education.
Harm reduction. Research. Action.
The overdose crisis is complex, and meaningful change requires work at many levels. Ibogaine Works brings together public education, harm reduction, research advocacy, professional outreach, and community action to help reduce preventable deaths and build safer, evidence-informed approaches to substance use and recovery.

Public Education + Harm Reduction
Better information helps people make safer decisions.

Public Eduation
We work to make complex information about substance use, overdose prevention, ibogaine, and emerging therapies easier to understand and more accessible. Our goal is to help people separate evidence from misinformation and better understand both the potential and the risks of new approaches to treatment and recovery.
Harm Reduction
Harm reduction recognizes that people need practical ways to stay safer regardless of where they are in their relationship with substances or treatment. We support compassionate, nonjudgmental approaches that reduce risk, encourage informed decision-making, and connect people with appropriate resources and care.
Research Advocacy
Building the evidence for better decisions
Ibogaine has attracted growing interest as a potential treatment for substance use disorders, but important questions about safety, efficacy, appropriate screening, dosing, medical supervision, and long-term outcomes remain.
Ibogaine Works advocates for rigorous scientific investigation that can help answer those questions. We support efforts to expand the evidence base, improve safety standards, and give healthcare professionals, regulators, policymakers, and the public better information with which to evaluate ibogaine responsibly.
Research before promises. Evidence before policy. Safety throughout.

Professional Education + Community Partnerships
Professional Education
Helping professionals navigate a changing landscape.
As interest in ibogaine and other emerging therapies grows, healthcare, mental-health, social-service, and harm-reduction professionals increasingly encounter people seeking information or pursuing these treatments.
Community Partnerships
Change happens through communities.
No single organization or profession can solve the overdose crisis. We bring together people with lived experience, families, clinicians, researchers, harm-reduction workers, advocates, and policymakers to share knowledge, identify unmet needs, and develop more effective responses.

CHANGE TAKES A COMMUNITY
